Dance & Theatre Development Agency – For Ballet/& Dance workshops at the Hall for Cornwall and Leeds Youth Ballet Workshops (for Cornish Dance Students).

Richard Waters

Towards Summer School violin/viola - with Professor Mark Knight & Patricia Noall prior to beginning his studies at the London Guildhall School of Music. Plus course fees and further summer schools for viola, and National Children’s Chamber Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra performing at the Royal Albert Hall; and to attend the Young Artists Symphony Orchestra at Harpenden. Plus – towards an advanced size/quality viola. Plus – course with the Amadeus Orchestra (Concerts in Exeter and Wells)

Samantha Bishop

Towards a new Flute for top grade exams. Plus - extra Flute lessons towards grade 8 exams.

Harriet van der Vliet

To attend the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain, summer school, Sunday Lessons and UK Tour. Plus The Arts Educational School – National Youth Ballet of GB and the English National Ballet in Liverpool and London. Stables (home of Cleo Laine & John Dankworth, Dulwich College with Wayne Sleep. Plus towards the purchase of a Bassoon, advance grades exams (piano),

Jessica Kitt

For additional Professional Saxophone Lessons – as a student of the Birmingham Conservatoire. Plus – advanced composition studies at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music and University of Central England (to include software for computer-composition). The Trust provided a platform for Jessica to play with HM Royal Marines Band at the Plymouth Pavilions.

Hannah Sharp

For Grade 7 violin exams, (including extra lessons, and sheet music required).
4 Flutes of Saltash – Towards purchase of Bass Flute for Flute Ensemble development.

David Doidge

Towards extra Flute lessons for major exams. Plus – towards costs of diploma recital and music etc; Extra special piano lessons.

Rachael Waters

(Advanced) Violin Summer School with international Violin Teachers, Mark Knight Patricia Noalls. Plus – summer courses with professors of viola and violin – and Artists Symphony Orchestra Course.

Saltash Town Band

Brass Band Workshops (South West Brass Band Association). Plus new Blazers for the Youth Band. The Trust also provided a platform for a member to play Cornet with the Glen Miller Orchestra at the China Fleet Country Club, Saltash.

Towards tuition fees – Royal Ballet School.

Towards tuition fees – Royal Ballet School. Plus advanced dance training fees and auditions, and training at Covent Garden, London,

Joshua Fedrick

Towards tuition fees – Royal Ballet School, and major dance competitions in London. Plus auditions for West End musical Billy Elliot (Josh was successful and is currently performing in the West End in Billy Elliot, and has had excellent reviews. Josh also danced on stage with Bruce Forsyth on Bruce’s 80th Birthday on BBC TV, in his role as Billy Elliot

Towards audio equipment, for youth theatre shows. Plus – towards theatre make-up courses.

Towards advanced course expenses – Percussion at Academy of Contemporary Music at Guildford, Surrey.

Towards costs of setting up new Girls’ Choir based in Saltash.

Providing Workshops

in singing, drama, theatre, Cornish Dance/Song/Drama for many hundreds of children/youth in various venues in Saltash and South East Cornwall.

Festival of Arts and  Music for All the Community

at Trematon Hall, Trematon, Saltash – workshops (drama, poetry, music, art exhibition), Pageant, performances, Youth Music  – A £20,000 project – sponsored by Awards For All and Saltash Town Council.
